Printemps Asiatique - The Pagoda - Art Fairs - Carlton Rochell

Since 2018, galleries specializing in Asian art, major auction houses, and cultural institutions have joined forces for Printemps Asiatique Paris. Designed on the model of Asia Week New York and Asian Art in London, this event is organized around a common calendar of exhibitions, auctions, tours and conferences. It allows art lovers and collectors to discover some of the major works available in galleries, auction rooms and museums. Its ambition is to affirm the importance of Asian art in France, particularly in its capital.

Printemps Asiatique aims to affirm the importance of Asian arts in France, notably by holding a high-quality cultural program allowing a national and international public to meet researchers, curators, gallery owners, and experts, all passionate about their work. Asian art specialists and scholars will be giving a series of high-quality conferences and round tables, guided tours of museum collections and temporary exhibitions, private foundations, and galleries in Paris.

The Pagoda is the former home of the notorious Chinese dealer and collector Ching Tsai Loo (1880-1957), better known as C. T. Loo.  The emblematic building, with its red-ochre façade and Chinese-inspired architectural elements, nestled in the heart of the Haussmannian district of the Plaine Monceau, resonates to Asian art lovers throughout the world.
